I'm currently working on a lace pattern. I need to decrease at each end every other row for about 80 rows. The only thing that has saved me is identifying the key stitches that should line up (one for the bottom half of the pattern, one for the top). If I didn't know those stitches, this whole endeavor would be a whole lot more difficult...
