This was my first time using duplicate stitch. I took one strand of the same weight and brand of yarn, split it into three plies, and smoothed them out again, one strand facing the opposite direction than it originally had. I started going left-to-right and top-to-bottom but it wasn't working out well. When I switched to right-to-left and bottom-to-top stitching, it worked out much better.
I'm pleased.
